VISTRONIX AWARDED CONTRACT TO SUPPORT THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA

McLean, Virginia – July 17, 2003:

Vistronix Inc., a leading consulting and strategic outsourcing company, announced today that it will provide consulting services to the City of Alexandria for applications needs, determination and design, applications programming services, documentation development and training support for its current user base, including City government departments, agencies, and the public. The City’s current infrastructure consists of approximately 2000 PC workstations and is connected via the City’s network (I-Net), and its Metropolitan Area Network (MAN). Vistronix will address the many challenges that the City currently faces with respect to connectivity, site updating, maintenance, and overall support for its current users, improving the client experience.

Additionally, Vistronix will support the development of emerging web site and web page enhancements, including: on-line registration for recreation programs, expanded on-line access to public records and bidders’ lists, on-line purchasing, on-line application forms, and access to database information via the web. The overall aim is to devise web-based applications and solutions that will continue to increase the public’s use of the City’s web sites for all its information services needs and make these services available 24-hours a day, seven days a week. “Working with the City of Alexandria as a partner to help them achieve their goals, directly reflects the value we continue to deliver to our customers on every engagement” said Chris Winslow, Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer.
